WIZMAX, a leading developer and manufacturer of gaming hardware and PC components, successfully concluded its participation at CES 2023, held from January 5 to 8 in Las Vegas, USA. The four-day exhibition served as a strategic stepping stone for the company to further expand into global markets and showcase its competitive product lineup.
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is one of the world's largest IT exhibitions, spotlighting cutting-edge technologies and new innovations each year. Despite lingering concerns over COVID-19, over 3,200 companies participated in this year’s show, signaling strong anticipation for a post-pandemic rebound. WIZMAX joined CES 2023 as part of its initiative—launched last year—to expand its international presence and compete on a global scale.
At the event, WIZMAX unveiled a wide range of products including gaming gear (keyboards, mice, headsets), power supplies, PC cases, and cooling solutions.
One of the main highlights was the company’s global brand, WIZMAX. The WIZMAX W101P and MANIC EX580 gained praise for their unique features, including IPX8-rated waterproofing, a rare spec in gaming keyboards. Many visitors were stunned to see the EX580 keyboard submerged in water while remaining fully functional.
Both models also impressed with distinctive design elements. The WIZMAX W101P features a nostalgic retro aesthetic with three unique color variants, while the MANIC EX580 sports pastel-toned crystal keycaps that cater to users seeking emotional appeal and individuality.
WIZMAX also debuted the WIZMAX W85 TKL keyboard at CES 2023. Unlike traditional full-size keyboards, the W85 uses a compact 85-key layout without a number pad, optimizing desk space. The model combines a retro-inspired design with Gateron Yellow Pro switches for quiet and satisfying keystrokes, and supports both wired and wireless connections.
Visitors also showed strong interest in the company’s premium product lines—MECHA, WARP, and MORPH—which are developed in-house by the WIZMAX Design Center. These models balance bold styling with features tailored for competitive gaming.
In the power supply category, the spotlight was on the ASTRO II GD 1650W, offering top-tier capacity and scalability. It complies with the latest ATX 3.0 standards, features 80 PLUS Gold certification, and includes dual 12VHPWR connectors, allowing users to power two RTX 40 series GPUs without converters. Other newly unveiled high-end PSUs, such as the ASTRO II Platinum, WIZMAX Platinum, WIZMAX Gold Full Modular, and WIZMAX Silver, also received favorable feedback.
Among PC cases, the EM1-WOOFER and EH1-Mondrian drew considerable attention. The EM1-WOOFER stands out with its minimalist, speaker-like aesthetic and resonated particularly with female visitors. Meanwhile, the EH1-Mondrian case was praised for its customizable front panel, robust cooling performance, and excellent expandability.
Throughout the event, Micronics engaged in over 2,000 business meetings with global buyers, estimating over $30 million USD in potential export deals. The majority of visitors came from Europe and North America, followed by buyers from Latin America and the Middle East.
WIZMAX aims to accelerate global expansion following CES 2023. CEO Hyunmin Kang stated, “Through this exhibition, we confirmed the global competitiveness of our gaming gear. We will continue promoting the WIZMAX brand worldwide.”
